Sr. IVV Engineer (UAV Autonomous Systems)

Our clientele includes some of the most successful industry leaders worldwide.We are currently seeking to fill the position of Senior IVV Engineer - UAV Autonomous Systems to contribute to new UAV projects Development. This is a permanent role with our client based in the UAE.ResponsibilitiesJob Description :Lead IVV activities for newly developed avionics and ground systems.Manage laboratory tools and equipment effectively.Ensure adherence to system engineering guidelines for safety and non-safety critical systems development.Support program milestones and reviews like SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.Assist in developing Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and Integration Plan.Coordinate flight test activities, readiness reviews, infrastructure, and logistics.Provide support for LRU level test activities.Maintain compliance with IVV process documentation for ISO certification.Contribute to system and subsystem safety analysis.Adhere To Company Statutory Requirements, Rules, And Safety Protocols.Participate in Capability Training initiatives for local IVV skill enhancement.Profile / RequirementsHold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.Possess a minimum of 8 years' experience in leading IVV tasks, implementing system-engineering best practices, with at least 3 years focused on AS applications.Preferably affiliated with esteemed international engineering bodies like IEEE.Familiarity with system engineering processes, ARP-4754 standard, and V model for product development.Experience in safety-critical software (DO-178B) and hardware (DO-254) standards.Proficiency in system engineering processes, configuration control, and avionics systems understanding.Hands-on experience in UAE systems integration, testing, and evaluation.Skilled in LRU/subsystem level testing, test activity planning, setup, execution, debugging, and evaluation.Familiarity with Hardware in the Loop System tests, wiring, instrumentation, and UAV system/subsystem setups.Proficiency in handling testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.Experience in UAV flight tests preparation, execution, and Hardware in the Loop Systems development.
