Job Description

Job Summary Develop and optimize long-term equipment strategy for Analyzers.Provides technical engineering support, monitors assets performance, in addition provides technical assurance on the effective execution of work processesProvides technical support on Analyzers automation, applications.Support the Production by providing expertise related to installed Analyzer and analyzer related control systems support in the production plant to ensure reliable operation in order to drive company business objectives through best performing talent.Continuously monitor and devise strategy for the enhancements in the methodology of Analyzer systems functioning with improvements to ensure reliable operation of plant by considering long-term goal.Job Purpose & ResponsibilitiesTo Perform/participate the required improvement study in the Analyzer System discipline considering the chronic issues, repeated failures, obsolescence and improvements. Initiate recommendations for improvements identified.Conduct regular audit on the installed and functional Analyzer systems and co-ordinate to fix the findings to ensure trouble-free service.Involvement with the MOC or project commissioning to ensure the changes are implemented as per plant reliability requirements.Analyzer system, life cycle management, to monitor and initiate system improvement timely.Achieve all targets related to SABIC Reliability Reorganization Program and KPI’s set by ATC. Plan and implement ATC related SMS.Lead or be a member of RCA related to assigned plant issues to find the root cause and ensure such problem does not recur. Also, Participate in Plant HAZOP Review.Conduct scheduled meeting with various vendors to ensure the installed equipment long-term support and to propose timely enhancements to avert any surprises.Ensure necessary SMPs are existing for various types of analyzer systems and a clear PM / CM strategies are in place. Develop new SMPs as per the requirement and develop necessary CM strategies.Review and advice the required spare parts levels to ensure the equipment availability and reduce the down time. Minimum Education/Experience Requirements B.S Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in the field of Analyzer Systems in Oil & Gas Plants / Refineries / Petrochemical PlantsExperience in leading cross-functional team, establishing, and maintaining strong relationships with inter-departments.Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Job Specific SkillsExperience in Analyzer system (on-line & off line analyzers / GC’s and related control systems).Experience shall cover clear understanding on hardware / programming and troubleshooting.Experience in Analyzer system design, Instrument integrity analysis, and instrument selection based on the required international standards.
