They are among the world's most profitable companies and rank in the top five by market capitalization.Job Purpose: The Financial Investment Analysis Consultant will play a crucial role as an advisor to corporate management and other departments within our client's organization, offering expertise on various financial and economic matters. This consultant evaluates the economic viability of different investments, assessing associated risks and their impact on the company's investment portfolio.Responsibilities: The selected candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:Conduct reviews of industry business developments, trends, and economics.Develop a comprehensive corporate perspective on the internal cost of capital and acceptable project returns.Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation to support capital investment decisions, processes, and financing.Evaluate the economics of intricate project proposals, including joint ventures and acquisitions.Advise on project economics and risks, translating them into financial metrics for investment evaluations.Provide critical inputs into the investment decision-making process, challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.Offer intellectual leadership to the finance business line, leveraging deep knowledge of capital markets and conducting ad-hoc analyses as requested by executive management.Represent the company at relevant internal and external conferences and seminars, delivering presentations on energy sector investments.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with consultancies, industry experts, and leading companies, staying informed about developments in oil and capital markets that could impact the company's competitive performance.Assisting in the training, coaching, and mentorship of junior staff.Education & Requirements: Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or Accounting from a recognized and approved program.
