Location: Saudi ArabiaNationalities: Europeans permitted to applyOverviewWe are seeking a technology consultant to join Global Manufacturing Excellence in order to support the development and deployment of technology management programs aimed at providing technical support across Global Manufacturing portfolio.Your primary role is to ideate, introduce, deploy and sustain novel and innovative technological solutions within various domains including reliability, maintenance, sustainability, energy and process.Key ResponsibilitiesYou are expected to be able to perform the following:Ø Lead the end-to-end implementation of Technologies across the downstream portfolio including petrochemical facilities, refineries, terminals and bulk plants as well as gas plants.Ø Develop comprehensive value adding technology roadmaps aligned to business challenges such as energy optimization, sustainability, plant availability, debottlenecking and process optimization.Ø Accelerate technology deployment working closely with internal and external execution agencies and vendors.Ø Conduct feasibility studies including technical and economic evaluation of solutions, platforms, and new technologies.Ø Perform technologies scouting to enable the identification of innovative and value adding technologies.Ø Develop business case and cost/benefit analysis for technologies deployment.Ø Work with other consultants, engineers, and project managers to deliver comprehensive solutions that address both technical and business requirements.Ø Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the progress and benefits of technology initiatives to peers, relevant stakeholders and senior management.Ø Collaborate with technology providers in developing and conducting tailored training content and programs to support the implementation and adoption of technologies by end-users.Ø Recognize and introduce necessary changes to standards and governance.Ø Stay abreast of global and regional Oil and Gas industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact technology implementations.Ø Ensure compliance with corporate governance and standards, and evaluating solution implementations. Identify introduce necessary changes to standards and governance.Ø Provide technical leadership and consultant level support to technology design, development and execution or operational teams.Minimum RequirementsAs the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering). A Masters’ degree is preferred.You will have a minimum of ten to fifteen years of experience as a Technology Consultant ideating, scouting, introducing and tracking value added technology deployment.Ø You have good understanding of downstream technologies, including but not limited to refinery processes.Ø You will have experience in developing business case and benefit/cost analysis for downstream technology.Ø You will have experience in working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, across the project lifecycle fostering effective communication and cooperation.Ø You will be able to demonstrate excellent understanding of management of change, engineering and design package as well as regulatory, risk mitigation and safety requirements.Ø You will have experience in change management, including developing and implementing technology changes.Ø You will be able to demonstrate understanding of relevant industry energy, safety and design regulations and standards ensuring compliance of proposed technology solutions.Ø You will be able to demonstrate excellent understanding of manufacturing technology solutions enabling the key process areas including production, reliability, environmental, safety and sustainabilityØ You will have strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology implementation projects in the O&G businessØ You have the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels..
