Job Summary We are seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, to oversee the company's enterprise compute and storage strategies. This includes planning, budgeting and precuring the right infrastructures for the right platforms and applications. You'll be overlooking the technology and defining the roadmaps for each specific environment in the enterprise infrastructure. Enterprise infrastructure will include the server farm, on-prem cloud, storage systems, AI environment and backup and archive environments. The position will also include financial duties like budgeting and calculating TCO/ROI for the planned procurement projects. Furthermore, supervising each procurement deployment with operation teams. Finally, you will act as consultant to the organization by continuously researching and studying the latest trends and issues. You will drive enterprise organizational alignment to ensure successful enterprise infrastructure roadmaps, adoption, security, governance, and risk management is adhered to. Key Responsibilities: Define the enterprise infrastructure strategy and roadmap.Engage in requirements gathering, capacity planning, and workload forecasting.Analyze and optimize production applications for efficiency and performance.Manage infrastructure budgeting and financials.Architect the infrastructure to meet organizational needs.Plan, execute, and manage hardware and appliance procurement projects.Collaborate with operations teams on resource utilization and chargeback modules.Work with leading OEMs and technology providers to source necessary equipment and solutions.Drive Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives with end-users and technical teams.Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization.Stay updated on new technology trends in CPU, GPU, cloud solutions, and storage services. Requirements: Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.Possess deep knowledge in cloud-native applications and container orchestration solutions, including OpenShift.Proficient in DevOps practices and tools, as well as VMware virtualization technologies.Experienced in MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines.Familiar with storage systems and protocols such as NFS, SMB, iSCSI, and S3.Have 15 years of experience in infrastructure budgeting, total cost of ownership (TCO), and return on investment (ROI) calculations.Experienced in backup and archive solutions, as well as data center and facility requirements.
