Job Description
Sourcing and Procurement:
• Identifying and developing relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Purchasing materials, goods, and services needed for production at the best possible price and quality.
• Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
Cost Management:
• Analysing market trends and supplier prices to achieve cost reductions while maintaining quality.
• Developing strategies to cut costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process.
Supplier Relationship Management:
•Maintaining good relationships with existing suppliers and assessing new potential suppliers for future needs.
•Conducting supplier performance evaluations and reviews.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and external regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Preparing and presenting reports on procurement activity and performance.
Qualifications
• A bachelor degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement in the manufacturing or furniture industry.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
