OCC/SCADA Senior Engineer (Rail) - MENA Region

EWI are supporting a leading consultancy firm specialising in the development and management of prestigious rail projects across the MENA region, who are currently seeking a Senior OCC/SCADA Engineer to contribute to the success of a high-speed rail project.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain the OCC and SCADA systems for the high-speed rail project.Lead the technical aspects of OCC/SCADA system integration within the overall project framework, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with other subsystems.Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline operations and enhance safety within the OCC/SCADA environment.Monitor and control train movements, signaling systems, track conditions, and other critical aspects of railway operations from the OCC.Conduct regular troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimisation of OCC/SCADA systems to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure full compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in OCC/SCADA engineering, preferably in the railway or transportation sector.Strong expertise in integrating OCC/SCADA systems with other subsystems such as signalling, communications, and power supply.Experience with automation technologies, data analytics, and cybersecurity measures within the OCC/SCADA environment.Fluent in EnglishRegional experience is preferred.LanguageEnglishKey Words / SEO Rail, Railway, OCC, Control Centre, Control Center, SCADA, HSR, high speed rail, Systems Engineering, Rail Systems, Senior Consultant, Senior Requirements, Consulting Engineering, Global Engineering, Consultancy, Middle East, MENA, EgyptClosing Statementewi is an international consultancy focused on the search & selection of the World's leading engineering and construction professionals.
