Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS
and company policies.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts and
monitor performance against these plans.
3. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend
analysis, to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
4. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
and ensure compliance with regulations.
5. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and coordinate with
external tax advisors for tax planning and preparation.
6. Audit Management: Coordinate the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors,
and implement audit recommendations.
7. Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and
maximize returns on cash balances.
8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, such as currency risk, interest
rate risk, and credit risk.
9. Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff and ensure their continued
professional development.
10. Financial Systems: Evaluate and implement financial systems and processes to improve
efficiency and accuracy.
11. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards
related to financial reporting and accounting practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 8-15 years of experience
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, or Oracle, including proficiency in system
navigation, data entry, and report generation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
