ISA Director - UAE

EWI are seeking highly qualified and experienced Independent Safety Assessors for an upcoming freight rail project based in the UAE. This project presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a vital transportation infrastructure in the region.Requirements:Director - Independent Safety Assessor:Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in the rail industry.At least 10 years of experience specifically in managing Independent Safety Assessments on railway projects of a similar size and complexity.Prior experience working in the Middle East would be advantageous.Requirements:Project Manager/Lead Assessor:Minimum of 20 years of experience in a railway safety-related role.A minimum of 5 years conducting Independent Safety Assessments.At least 10 years of experience overseeing the management of railway safety assessments for projects of similar size and complexity.Previous experience working in the Middle East would be beneficial.Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.Strong technical knowledge of railway safety standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Conducting comprehensive Independent Safety Assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Providing expert advice and guidance to project stakeholders on safety-related matters.Developing and implementing safety management plans and procedures.Collaborating with project teams to identify and mitigate safety risks throughout the project lifecycle.Ensuring compliance with relevant safety legislation and standards.Reporting directly to project leadership and providing regular updates on safety performance.Language:EnglishKey Words / SEO Rail, Railway, ISA, Independent safety assessor, safety assessor, safety assurance, systems safety assurance, freight, Systems Engineering, Rail Systems, Senior Consultant, Senior Requirements, Consulting Engineering, Global Engineering, Consultancy, Middle East, UAEClosing Statementewi is an international consultancy focused on the search & selection of the World's leading engineering and construction professionals.
