Strategy Development and Implementation
Develop and direct the implementation of the functional strategy ensuring alignment to organizational strategy and corporate objectives. Ensure that functional strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of the organization. Ensure the provision of subject matter expertise for the assigned domain and provide counsel to SPL leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of SPL’s strategy and functional strategies. Lead and direct the continuous achievement of quality and customer experience standards in line with the overall business strategy.

Leadership



Manage and maintain effective and strategic relationships with vendors and initiate profitable communications with potential vendors and suppliers to ensure effective contracting processes and negotiations and capture optimal cost saving opportunities. Develop procurement strategy based on SPL’s business needs and develop tools and methodologies to ensure optimization of cost and control overall spend. Review procurement and contracts requirements in order to advise on implementing cost reduction measures through innovative approaches such as consolidation of orders to achieve economies of scale, long-term price agreements, and synergistic relationships. Oversee and manage the strategic sourcing for SPL by understanding the spend patterns, specifications and end-users' current and future requirements. Provide strategic guidance to the executives and senior management on all procurement matters related to procurement strategy, tendering, supplier selection, contract management, inventory management and supplier performance measurement and resolve any issues senior management might have, to ensure they are aware of all critical issues and that issues are resolved.
