Quality Assurance Specialist

• We are looking for a "Quality Assurance Specialist" for our company in Egypt.

  
  

  Job Descriptions

  
  

  • Provide QA advice to factories before and during the manufacturing process

    
    

  • Check samples against product specifications to ensure that they meet customers’ quality standards

    
    

  • Check QA inspectors to ensure consistent QA inspection service quality

    
    

  • Provide technical support to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product quality

    
    

  • Monitor and extend advice to factories before and during the manufacturing process

    
    

  • Conduct in-line and final product inspections and provide advice and solutions on technical issues (e.g. construction of products/materials) considering the features and limitations of products and materials

    
    

  • Provide QA advice on complex product items to factories before and during the manufacturing process

    
    

  • Conduct factory audits to ensure that factories meet international/customers' compliance standards

    
    

  • Report and trouble shoot quality issues from bulk production samples sample to garment finish

    
    

  • Ensuring finished garment is to specification

    
    

  • Fabric pre-production quality checks (refer to quality manual)

    
    

  • Work closely with all operational departments related to product

    
    

  • Communicating all quality issues arising from testing and assessment of product to all key stakeholders

    
    

  • Setting and communicating tolerance levels to key stakeholders

    
    

  • Assessing garment construction to specifications and sample

    
    

  • Defining and implementing quality assurance methodologies into the production area

    
    

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    
    

  Requirements

  
  

  • At least 10 years of garment experience in the QA field

    
    

  • Knowledge of AQL 2.5/4 must

    
    

  • Residing in Kafr El-Dawar area

    
    

  • Frequent travel is required

    
    

  • Strong communication skills

    
    

  • Good command of both written and oral English

    
    

  • Hardworking and can ability work under pressure

    
    

  • Having both cut & sewn and woven experience

    
    

  • Having responsibility and flexibility

    
    

  • Knowledge of basic Excel spreadsheets and email communication
