Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Be the SME in all systems under his/her responsibility such that water system, HVAC compressed air, boilers generators, in addition to non GMP utilities)
• Lead or participate in capital projects for all the systems under his/her responsibility.

• Monitor utility systems and maintain KPI’s to assure that they are operating properly, in compliance with requirements.
• Provide written instructions for the proper way to operate and maintain the utilities and process to assure that the system operates within the controlled parameters.
• Implement efficient and effective maintenance and reliability techniques.
• Provide technical assistance as necessary to utilities technicians.
•  Support internal audits and external audits.
• work in a safe manner and in compliance with all Viatris EHS policies, standards and procedures.
• Ensure the utilities comply with all quality policies and procedures.
• Identify risks and escalate situation with a sense of urgency.
• Support the tracking and (KPIs) for Cairo site against global sustainability plan of 2030.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• 3-5 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry in utilities or maintenance role
• A degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical and Working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of cGMP
