About 5,000 employees from 84 nations are currently realizing the projects of our customers with professional knowledge and intercultural experience.Responsibilities:Responsible for developing a Construction Traffic Management System to minimize disruptions, mitigate safety risks, and maintain regulatory compliance throughout construction stages.Define the Construction Traffic Management System to help monitor the whole traffic and act as a tool that will guarantee smooth operations on both construction and non-construction road networks.Develop a tailored system in collaboration with project stakeholders,Prepare tender documentsArchitecture of the Construction Traffic Management SystemDefinition of its hardware and software requirements Definition of its Monitoring System components (GPS data collection and analysis)Integration of the designed Construction Traffic Management System with ITS and the Traffic Control System.Participate in site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify potential issues or concerns.Support the testing and evaluation of prototypes or experimental designs under the supervision of senior engineers.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to the field of engineering.Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the engineering team and the company.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transport Planning or equivalent.Minimum experience of 10 years out of which 3-5 years in traffic management or construction project management, preferably in the transportation, construction or infrastructure sector. Proficiency in traffic control principles, standards and regulations. Familiarity with MUTCD guidelines is an advantage.Working experience in Saudi Arabia advantage. AutoCAD / MicroStation or Synchro similar drafting software: Ability to create and modify traffic control plans, signage layouts, and construction site drawings, etc.Familiarity with specialized traffic management software, such as: Synchro, PTV Vissim or others for traffic flow analysis, simulation modeling, and signal optimization. Geographic Information Systems (GIS): Knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS for spatial analysis, mapping, and visualization of traffic data, construction sites, and road networks.Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, report preparation, and communication with project stakeholders.Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking project progress.Traffic control device management software: Understanding of software tools used for inventory management and tracking of traffic control devices, such as signs, barricades, and cones.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.Ability to prepare detailed and effective presentations.Ability to communicate technical concepts and provide a good level of guidance and supervision to more junior staff.Fluent in both English & Arabic language. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
