OverviewPizza Hut Global Finance Markets (GFM) is looking for a talented, high-achieving CFO. This person will be a member of the GFM Leadership Team, responsible for all Pizza Hut GFM Finance activities including the development, approval and execution of policies,strategies, objectives and plans designed to achieve approved growth, revenue and profit targets. Functional areas include all financial deliverables including engagement with financial control, tax/treasury, financial planning, insurance/risk management andbusiness review/audits.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a geographically dispersed team and work closely with our global colleagues based in Dallas, as well as regional GM’s, their teams, and our franchise partners to ensure growth of our business. Our ambition is tocontinue to grow Pizza Hut’s market expansion in all markets in the 90+ geographies in which GFM operates. The candidate should beable to embrace and leverage technology to catalyze efficiency. S/he will have worked in an organization which it was imperative tomanage tight margins and will as a result be highly commercially astute and intellectually curious. Also essential will be the ability towork in a region-wide matrix structure, and therefore a demonstrable track record of high achievement through high levels ofemotional intelligence, collaboration and influencing is essential. The success of this role is hugely dependent on the ability to builddeep relationships, engage and influence to impact not just the senior leaders, franchise owners, who are from different cultures and organizations with differing maturities and scale.Role PurposeTo develop, lead and execute the commercial business strategy and objectives across the Pizza Hut GFM business unit (~90countries, 5,000+ restaurants), representing over $5bn sales and 40% total Pizza Hut global profit. The scope of the position focusesprimarily on 6 regions: Latin America and Caribbean, Europe, North Asia, South Asia, Middle East & Pakistan, Turkey Africa and Germany. This position will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with approximately 30%+ travel (negotiable).ResponsibilitiesKey leadership of the GFM finance function and thought partnership to the GFM MD and leadership team.Provide input to region’s strategic planning process, periodic review and update of strategic plans.Oversee translation of approved company brand initiatives into finance programs working with the GFM Franchisees.Build personal and professional relationships with key franchisees executives and owners, and all franchisee finance leaders, to be able to influence the strategic issues that encompass the overall business with a specific focus on Finance related issues.Role model as a business coach by crafting and galvanizing the system (GFM finance team, Global teams, regional teams, shared service teams, suppliers, and franchisees) to undertake game changing initiatives.Be an inspirational mentor to the key emerging leaders from the rest of the Management TeamNurturing a culture of empowerment within the finance team.RequirementsA senior, strategic leader with a clear track record of success comes from a consumer-facing background and will have had experience building relationships and influencing across functional lines.The individual must deal well with complexity and ambiguity, and have the ability to influence, guide and motivate without direct control. As not everything is fully defined, it will be necessary to get down into the detail, and the successful candidate will embrace that, as well as being a world-class executor.The successful candidate will develop a mechanism to efficiently and effectively share best practices, enable consistent execution, and increase cross-organizational engagement.Tertiary degree level qualification, with major in Finance or Accounting. Together with ACA/CPA qualification essential. Post graduate (MBA) qualification preferred.Minimum 15 years overall business experience, with at least 3-5 years in senior finance position at policy making level preferably in a Multinational Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company, US$500 MM+ in turnover.Experience in all facets of finance essential including FP&A, strategic planning, financial control, tax/treasury, audit and track record of system development to support business goal achievement.Executive planning, organizing, leading and controlling skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build a team environment to achieve revenue, profit and growth targets.High work ethic.Candidates with international mobility required.Pizza Hut, as a member of the Yum!
