GIS Lead

Lead the development and implementation of GIS strategies and initiatives to support organizational goals. Manage GIS projects from conception to completion, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and evaluation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into GIS solutions. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of GIS applications, databases, and systems. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of GIS data and systems. Provide technical expertise and guidance to GIS team members and other departments. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in GIS. Conduct training sessions and workshops for users to enhance their GIS skills and knowledge. Manage vendor relationships and third-party services related to GIS. Monitor and analyze GIS performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements. RequirementsQualification: - 1. Msc/MTech in geography / geoinformatics / Remote Sensing and GIS 2. Min 5-7 years of experience in GIS domain Hands On experience with GIS Software Like ArcGIS 10.4, 10.8 2. QGIS . AutoCAD Good Communication Skills Quality assessment and Quality Checking Training to resources on GIS software’s Topology and geoprocessing Team Handling Documenting and preparing the process Compile and refine GIS data from a variety of sources including public domain, field collection, satellite imagery and existing maps
