Principal Engineer - Aerodynamics

Job Summary: Principal Engineering Roles is of high complexity. They contribute significantly to the completion of the projects, lead multiple projects, and manage technical/manpower resources. Key Accountabilities: Works under the direct command and management of the Department Head and the relevant hierarchy; Undertake aerodynamics design and support work throughout the whole life-cycle of the system under development; Responsible for ensuring reporting in accurate and timely manner and to a high standard; Must be in effective communication with the Chief Engineer and the relevant hierarchy; Accountable in terms of sharpening his skills and knowledge on project organization, standards of engineering and scientific investigation and evaluation to ensure more work efficiency; Responsible in maintaining the optimum performance of an Aerodynamic engineering system or design, as per direct mandate by the Department Head and the relevant hierarchy; Must be able to lead and execute precise engineering computations; Must be able to lead risk assessments and manage them effectively; Lead a group of other Junior Engineers, Engineers and Senior Engineers to facilitate projects and perform responsibilities designated by the Department head and the relevant hierarchy; Experience & Education Qualifications: Minimum: 15 years of experience in missile aerodynamics Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or similar discipline. Preferred: 20 years of experience in missile aerodynamics Preferred: Master’s or PHD Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering #HALCON
