Finding solutions to climate change is the priority of the 21st century and means switching to low-carbon energy. At Assystem, our mission is to accelerate the energy transition worldwide. To achieve this, our 7,000 Switchers combine their historical engineering expertise and project management with digital technologies.



In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernization and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonize the transport and industry sectors.





Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE :
We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our internal users. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
The IT Support Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining productivity and efficiency across our organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:


1. Provide frontline technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in-person.
2. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
4. Set up and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
5. Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
6. Assist in the deployment and management of software applications and updates.
7. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans.
8. Document all support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
9. Provide training and technical guidance to end-users as needed.
10. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams or vendors for resolution.




My profile

Qualifications : 
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
2. Proven experience as an IT Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
4. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
5. Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
9. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
