Actively seeks out work from more senior team members and begins to execute defined activities. Begins to build knowledge of the business.Primary Job Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesManage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards.Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature, trends, and technical issues relevant to the client's industry.Oversee engagement management, including managing the budget, resourcing strategy, billing and collections, and progress against the plan, timeline, and milestones.Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career development.Build and manage client relationships and accounts, including driving the client experience on engagements.Ability to coach staff effectively during fieldwork.Qualification And ExperienceAt least 5-6 years in public auditing and accounting, in public auditing and accounting, preferably with a large professional services audit firm, dealing with Insurance Services and Banking Clients.Knowledge of best practice reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards.Some experience outside the normal audit field, such as agreed-upon, accounting support and other transaction support engagements.Graduate degree in accounting or related field;International professional qualification – CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA (is a must)Diploma in IFRS (is additional)
