Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for cutting-edge technology.Responsibilities:Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products from concept to completion.Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for electrical projects.Create detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings using CAD software.Select appropriate materials, components, and equipment for electrical systems, considering factors such as performance, cost, and reliability.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.Test and evaluate prototypes and final products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design, development, and testing phases.Stay informed about advances in electrical engineering technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients on electrical engineering matters.Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and design reviews to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure.Proven experience in electrical engineering, including design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design and layout (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuit theory, and power systems.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrical simulation software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and power electronics.Familiarity with hardware description languages (e.g., VHDL, Verilog) for FPGA and ASIC design.Experience with PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).Certification in relevant areas such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP).
