This role involves coordinating inspections, managing internal non-conformance reports, and ensuring all quality requirements are met during the construction and application phases. The inspector will also oversee incoming material deliveries and ensure inspection instruments are maintained and calibrated.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Understand and enforce project specifications related to painting and coating. Conduct inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and document findings. Review inspection reports and manage the closure of non-conformance reports. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other QC inspectors on quality and technical issues. Inspect incoming materials to confirm specifications and compliance with approvals. Maintain inspection tools, ensuring they are in good condition and calibrated. Monitor environmental conditions to ensure optimal application of coatings and paints. Provide quality control briefings and updates through regular toolbox talks. Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Certifications relevant to coating inspection (e.g., NACE or SSPC certification). Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control for painting and coating in industrial projects.
