We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting processes, financial analysis, and contributing to the financial health of the organization.Responsibilities:Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.Assist in data entry, coding, and processing of invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.Assist in financial analysis by preparing variance reports, trend analysis, and other ad-hoc reports.Learn and apply accounting principles and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.Assist with audits and compliance activities, ensuring proper documentation and internal controls.Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements.Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.RequirementsWhat are we looking for?Someone dynamic, full of ideas to develop and implement - and quickly! Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and eager to learn about accounting practices and processes. Previous internship or course work related to accounting is a plus.
