Job Description
- Work Inspection Report (WIR) and Material Inspection request (MIR) related to Civil, Structural, and Finishes, including snag and de-snag inspections.
- Review Engineering submissions like shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, etc. related to Structural, civil and finishes works.
- Assist RE in assessing the Payment applications and variations.
- Inspect the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with contract Document approved shop drawings and Authority requirements.
- Inspection of all horizontal and vertical structural components of the project.
- Take progress photographs for inclusion in monthly reports and for power docs.
- Check the quality of works at the site and highlight any quality issues to RE. Preparer Site Inductions(SI) and NCR & issue to RE for review and signature for issuance to Contractor.
- Attend and check material tests on-site and off-site and review report
- Ensure for implementation of the approved Project Quality Plan at the site.
- Ensure the works are progressing as per the approved shop drawing, and materials and in line with Local authorities’ guidelines.
- Observe and inspect site safety practices and the progress of the work, reporting on any concerns to the Resident Engineer.
- Perform other duties as required by RE or Head of Supervision.
- Assist Project RE in snagging & De snagging and checking of all Closeout documents.
- Familiar with the latest drafting & computer-aided & design software, standard symbols, and nomenclature to his/her work discipline.
- Capable of handling different projects in the same time and in different Emirates.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma Civil Engineering/BTEC/BE
- Experience wise must have 8-10 years of experience, 5 years in UAE
- A valid Driving License is mandatory.
