Valu, the leading financial technology powerhouse in the MENA region, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our growing Consumer Finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, while providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Responsibilities:·      Oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle for Valu Consumer Finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.·      Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control procedures.·      Manage the month-end closing process, preparing accurate and timely financial statements.·      Analyze financial data and generate reports to support informed business decisions.·      Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.·      Oversee the work of junior accounting staff and provide training and mentorship.·      Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and management.·      Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.Qualifications:·      Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CMA certification a plus).·      Minimum of 6 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the financial services industry.·      Proven experience with accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.·      Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
