Legal Manager

Job Description

1. Review legal documents with respect to Veolia activities and provide the management with legal memos, legal comments along with a mitigation plan for the highlighted risks within a defined time frame
2. To support the different departments on the legal day to day request.
3. Draft the different types of agreements related to Veolia Business.
4. Negotiate with our different stakeholders and be able to close deals in Veolia's best interest.
5.  To work in compliance with Veolia Key procedures and rules.
6.  To support in reviewing all template contracts with respect to EPC, labor, distribution, MOU, consortium, pre-bid and purchase agreements.
7.  To follow up on Veolia Corporate work related to annual resolutions and arrange for the necessary documentations.
8. Liaising with the finance department for DOA and insurance matters.
9.  To follow up with Veolia external lawyers on any ongoing file
10.  Arrange for legal newsletters.

Qualifications

•  8 to 12 years of experience with a solid previous experience in a law firm and/or multinational.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Master's degree in law is a plus
• A solid experience in drafting contracts and preparing corporate documentation.
•  A solid experience in Egyptian labor law 
• Proficiency in English and Arabic both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure and work independently. Good analytical ability and excellent drafting skills.
