Job Description
Job Purpose:
To ensure that all food and beverage ingredients processed at ofi Egypt meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The QC Executive plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control
Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of quality checks, deviations, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, customer requirements, and ofi’s internal standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FSSC).
Process Improvement
Identify quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.
Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Support audits and customer visits by providing relevant documentation and insights.
Training & Development
Assist in training plant staff on quality procedures and food safety protocols.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in quality control within the food or ingredients industry.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
