Job Description
- Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
- Coordinate BIM models across disciplines (MEP, architecture, structural, etc.) to ensure clash detection and interoperability.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM-related technologies and processes.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, etc.).
- Prepare and review working shop drawings before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Review and issue order to pay for subcontractors’ invoices.
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
- Prepare Weekly, monthly progress report.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
- +3 to 8 years of experience in Technical Office.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM coordination.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, Navisworks and BIM 360.
- Experience in Industrial / residential construction.
- Contracting knowledge.
- Mastering different drawing tools.
