Job Description

Overview 

The Operations & Sales Coordinator – French Speaker will act as the primary liaison between KoraStats and its African-based employees, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of sports data from field teams to the operations team. Additionally, the role involves close coordination with the sales team across African markets to support business development activities. This role requires strong communication skills in both French and English and a high level of organization and cultural awareness. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operations & Data Coordination 

  • Manage daily communication with African-based data collectors and operations staff. 
  • Monitor and follow up on data delivery from regional employees to the central operations team.
  •  Ensure accuracy and timeliness of submitted data and resolve any issues or delays.
  •  Maintain updated tracking sheets and dashboards for regional data flow and staff activity. 

Sales Coordination 

  • Coordinate with the sales team to support client communication and initiatives across African markets.
  • Assist in gathering and relaying information to/from African partners, clients, and internal teams. • Support proposal preparation, client reporting, and market research for sales activities. 
  • Help schedule and prepare materials for meetings with African sales leads or prospects. 

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with African team members and ensure motivation and accountability. 
  • Serve as a bridge between French-speaking employees/clients and non-French-speaking departments. 
  • Handle basic translation tasks and assist in French-language communications when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Being fluent in French and English is a MUST. (spoken and written).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, coordination, or sales support roles. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and communication platforms like Slack, Zoom, or similar.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, cultural sensitivity, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with remote teams or in African markets.
  • Familiarity with sports data or technology-based services.
  • Prior experience in a bilingual coordination or liaison role.
