Job Description
- Knowledge of Power Systems Engineering within a substation environment and understanding of secondary system design / commissioning
- Knowledge of HV or MV protection systems relevant communication protocols (i.e. IEC61850, UCA2.0, DNP3.0, Courier, etc)
- Setting and testing of Substation 220/33 kV protection relay system.
- Calculate and review specific protection and control settings, configurations, testing and commissioning procedures
- Perform engineering design review and validation
- Compliance of new and existing protection system design and testing and recommend practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 Yrs experiences in the field of power system engineer.
- Experience in ABB and SEL relays for distance and busbar protection configuration, scheme and testing.
