Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns.
  • Lead team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel.
  • Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures.
  • Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Report to management regarding sales results and productivity
  • Ensures that all duties and procedures are carried out according to the set standards. 
  • Ensures that all aspects of the operation achieve and maintain manages the Operations in a way that achieves high standards of service guest’s satisfaction.
  • Supports in menu planning and the research and development of new trends in food and beverage items, and to work closely with the Production department on products development.
  • Responsible for Producing Operating and Management reports to help running the business and keep Senior Management informed.
  • Assures that all staff understand and support all Disciplinary and Grievance Policies and Procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Responsible for ensuring that there is an effective procedure to handle guest and customer complaints.
  • Builds a strong and cohesive management team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent relative to Field Expertise.
  • Proven food and beverage management experience 5 to 10 years.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
  • Communication and leadership skills.
  • Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices.
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
  • Professional attitude and appearance at all times.
