Job Description
Overall Responsibilities
- Teaching Global Perspectives to students according to the requirements of the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Plan and deliver lessons to students in developing individual and collaborative research based skills in environmental/humanities/global issues-based topic areas
- Research new topic areas and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge To start class on time.
- To prepare & write a lesson plan.
- To follow the monthly plan.
- To choose & use appropriate teaching aids & supplementary materials effectively in addition to the use of audio visual aids (smart board, video, tape recorder) when necessary.
- To substitute whenever needed.
- To make sure that preparation notebook & grade notebook are always with him/ her in class.
- To use the channel notebook as a means of communication with the parents.
- Promote high standards in all aspects of school life, particularly in student progress
- To set tests & quizzes when required by senior teacher.
- To attend all faculty meetings.
- To seek professional development through attending training courses, conventions, workshops or additional courses.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Humanities or Political Science
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Preferably a minimum of 4 years teaching experience
