Job Description
- Custom WordPress theme building
- Familiar with NPM, Gulp, WebPack and modern build tools
- Strong front-end skills (CSS, SCSS, Flexbox, Javascript/jQuery)
- Experience working with AJAX in a WordPress environment
- Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields
- Experience using WordPress’s actions/hooks
- Experience optimizing a website for page speed and SEO best practices
- PHP experience that extends beyond native WordPress PHP
- Experience making/troubleshooting third-party API connections from a WordPress environment
- Strong technical troubleshooting and self-efficiency skills
- Experience with SSH, Git
- An eye for design is a plus
Job Requirements
- At least 2-4+ years of experience working as a WordPress developer
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries.
- Familiarity with versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and CVS
- Experience working.
- Ability to communicate in English clearly both verbally and in writing.
