Job Description
- Responsible for the clinic and inventory of the clinics
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping the patient
- Build trust, and understand the patient’s objectives and supervise nurse in a clinic
- Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth
- Reminding doctors of updating all treatment plans for new and existing patients on Dentalore system.
- Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
- Inform patients of dental office procedures and policy
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation and complete treatment
- Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
Job Requirements
- Current license to practice dentistry
- Minimum 1 year’ clinical experience at a dental practice
- Dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care to patients
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices
- Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required, hospital privileges is Preferred.
- Requires a comprehensive knowledge of primary dental care in an outpatient setting
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dentistry.
- Understand the practice’s policy on working with dental benefit plans and be prepared to educate patients on their dental benefits
