Job Description
Objective: To assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of G/L consistent with the objectives of the Company.
Essential Functions:
- Perform activities related to the standardized month end closing such as revaluationprocess, cost center closing, shared cost, balances verification
- Perform the regional submission to Global Reporting Systems and balances reconciliation
- Maintenance and administration of GL systems and databases (Finance Workflow Database, LA Controllership, Remedy)
- Administration of accounting periods closing
- Month end closing metrics
- Batch processing and centralized journal entry uploads, including payment proposals
- Maintenance of GL related master data (Accounts & Cost Centers creation and changes)
- Manage workload and priorities independently
- Miscellaneous reclassifications, adjustments, and write-offs
- Preparing monthly account reconciliations (High risk/Volume accounts) and analyses as prescribed by established deadlines and procedures
- Evaluating processes and controls for effective operation and recommending and implementing improvements
- Preparing monthly journal entries including complex accruals, monthly benefit adjustments and treasury related entries
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Performing month end close processes, timely and accurately, ensuring properly financial records. and participate in forecast processes
- Preparation of monthly management accounts of assigned entities
- Provide general ledger support for business users of the general ledger and

- Knowledge of appropriate accounting and financial software programs specially ERP (Odoo)
- Experience & certification required:
- Bachelor degree in accounting.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance and Strong knowledge with G/L Operations.
- Accounting or financial analysis.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience with G/L Workstations preferred.
