Job Description
- Assists in maintaining robust, reliable, efficient and flexible telecommunication IT systems
- Meets, in good time, the company's statutory obligations for systems such as licensing and the Data Protection Act.
- Maintains computing environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring system performance
- Keeps systems down time to a minimum and all systems running to the standard appropriate
- Actively promotes the optimum use of IT and telecommunications capability
- User Training of IT hardware and software based on IS guidelines
- Oversees the performance of day-to-day operational support for server, storage or network infrastructures.
- Oversees the building, patching, testing (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA) and deployment of systems and platforms meeting clients’ needs and specifications.
- Oversees, plans and implements changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
- Oversees storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.
- Oversees software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
- Oversees the configuration of security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
- Documents complex procedures and complex troubleshooting procedures related to systems/networks software and hardware.
- Configures, monitors, maintains and oversees office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, i.e. Virus malware protection, office application suites and/or application software.
- Evaluates and recommends new technologies, optimize operational efficiency, and troubleshoot problems arising in the infrastructure environments.
- Participates in development of overall enterprise disaster recovery (DR) strategy.
- Network, VOIP and related hardware components.
- Active directory, DHCP, DNS and various server functions.
- VMware/Storage skills & knowledge (NetApp knowledge is preferred).
- Veeam Backup.
- SQL Administration
- Develops respective processes and KPIs
- Coordinates activities across departments and monitors results in order to achieve the defined objectives

Job Requirements
- BSC. Engineering or Relevant Major.
- People Management of the area of responsibility (resource allocation, evaluation, leadership, monitoring)
