Job Description
- Lead the Operations, design, implementation, and maintenance of our Unix AIX /Linux infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices
- Install, configure, and maintain Unix-based systems, AIX and Linux systems.
- Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and performance
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, including system crashes and application failures
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect system integrity
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions
- Define and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for Unix AIX system administration, security, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and optimization
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in Unix administration, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Perform other responsibilities as required by higher levels of supervision
- Good with performance tuning and Migrations of systems.
Job Requirements
