Job Description
The GL Accountant will focus on maintaining the integrity of the general ledger through accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting using Oracle GL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post journal entries and maintain GL accounts in Oracle.
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (bank, AP, AR, intercompany).
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Run trial balances and assist with financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, as needed.
- Collaborate with auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of GL accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials (GL module).
- Fluent in English with clear written communication.
- Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Comfortable working with older staff and bridging tech gaps.
