Job Description
The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing and monitoring the company’s cash flow, banking activities, and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs. The role involves daily cash management, bank reconciliations, monitoring payments and collections, and preparing treasury reports. The Treasury Accountant also assists in optimizing working capital, maintaining banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash balances and forecast cash requirements.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow reports.
- Process and reconcile bank transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Handle payments, collections, and fund transfers.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in improving cash management processes and controls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance (fresh graduates may be considered).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Good understanding of cash flow management and banking operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
