Job Description
GIG.Tech is a fast-growing IT start-up developing a cloud as a service solution. We are headquartered in Belgium, but our team is spread across the world. We are looking for a full-time QA engineer to provide QA automated and manual testing for the various aspects of our product. Your responsibilities will be:
- Design and maintain auto tests for regression UI testing of our cloud platform.
- Perform manual testing of the new features.
- Design advance functional tests.
- Design and maintain API tests.
- Monitor daily test runs, report issues and work closely with the development team to achieve quick bug fixes and prevent regressions in the quality of service when introducing new releases.
As a QA engineer at GIG.Tech you will constantly learn advance technologies and become an expert user of our cloud platform, actively involved in continuous improvement of our product by providing your feedback and suggestions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent English.
- Good understanding of testing strategies.
- Experience in designing and writing automated UI tests.
- Experience writing python unit tests.
- Good understanding of Rest APIs.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure.
- Comfortable working with Linux-based OSs
