Job Description
- Responsibilities will be full-time in a clinic and include but not be limited to:
- Assessment, psychometry, treatment planning, and therapy (individual, family & groups).
- Collaboration with psychosocial workers, who provide home and community-based support, to conduct a holistic case management plan.
- Participation in teams working with children with special needs and in need of child protection.
- Provision of requested training and support to staff.
- Attendance at meetings required for management of cases.
- Regular supervision for training, capacity building, and management of challenging cases.
- Reporting and documentation as needed
- Assist in the logistics of running a clinic.
Job Requirements
- Education
- Advanced Degree in Psychology.
- Specialization of clinical training in child & adolescent mental health/therapy
- Training in roleplay and family therapy is an advantage
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a child psychologist/therapist
- Previous experience working with people who experienced traumatic events
- Interest to work with people from multiple cultures.
- Refugee work experience is preferred.
- Motivated and flexible
- Advanced clinical and psychotherapy skills and experience
- Capacity to work under pressure
- Good computer and responsible reporting skills
- Good communication skills
