Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and secure backend systems that integrate with frontend systems, building RESTful APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements. You will also identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues in backend systems and work with the QA team to ensure the quality of backend systems.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable and secure backend systems that integrate with frontend systems.
• Build RESTful APIs with proper documentation using Postman or/and Swagger.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues in backend systems.
• Implement data storage and access solutions that are efficient and reliable, with expertise in MySQL databases.
• Work with the QA team to ensure the quality of backend systems.
• Document backend systems and APIs for future reference.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks, especially Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases using MySQL, including writing optimized queries.
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and knowledge of Postman.
• Experience with on-premise & cloud hosting service providers like Microsoft Azure
• Basic knowledge of DevOps and deployment flows is a plus.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements is a plus.
• Knowledge of system design and architecture.
• Familiarity with design patterns and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
