Job Description
- Visit assigned customers regularly to maintain strong business relationships.
- Prospect and acquire new customers to expand market coverage.
- Communicate parts orders to the counter team and clarify stock vs. emergency orders.
- Confirm with customers that delivery dates for non-stock items are acceptable prior to order confirmation.
- Review special orders with the Parts Manager and obtain necessary approvals.
- Secure Parts Manager’s approval for any special pricing requests.
- Provide delivery instructions to counter staff and ensure proper execution.
- Follow up on orders to confirm customers have been served accurately and on time.
- Coordinate service sales activities with service sales personnel.
- Submit completed call reports, timesheets, and expense reports on schedule.
- Maintain and update customer records, including changes to contact details.
- Add new customers to relevant mailing lists.
- Attend training seminars to stay updated on product knowledge and industry best practices.
- Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership, ensuring professional representation.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Oil & Spare Parts.
- Proven track record in building customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
- Willingness to attend training and continuously improve sales capabilities.
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
