Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience working with containerization technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platforms. This role will involve managing and deploying highly available cloud infrastructure solutions, improving development processes, and ensuring the security and scalability of the systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton, and other modern automation tools.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, YAML, and other declarative tools.
- Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Ensure optimal networking and connectivity between cloud services and on-premise systems (VPN, firewalls).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between cloud infrastructure and backend/frontend services.
- Automate infrastructure processes to ensure efficient deployments, scaling, and monitoring.
- Manage the cloud infrastructure in AWS, Oracle Cloud, or other cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring uptime and minimal service disruptions.
- Evaluate, test, and integrate new technologies to streamline operations and enhance the stability of the platforms.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Oracle Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or GoLang.
- Experience with microservice architectures and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues across frontend and backend services.
- Excellent understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and GitLab for code management and review.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and infrastructure optimization.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization for large-scale systems handling high traffic.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle) or DevOps-related tools are a plus.
