Job Description

  • Determine how best to represent a concept visually and what elements to use.
  • Develop the overall look or style of publications and advertising campaigns.
  • Manage graphic designers, UI UX Designers and 2D animators, set and exhibit designers, or other design staff
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members.
  • Conducting research to better understand brand objectives, target markets, and industry trends.
  • Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style.
  • Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments.
  • Develop detailed budgets and timelines.
  • Present designs to clients for approval.
  • Oversee the work of studio team members.
  • Determine the overall style in which a message is communicated visually to its audience.
  • Translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences.
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
  • Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions.
  • Present completed ideas to clients/team members.
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.

Job Requirements

  • +5 years of proven experience as Art Director.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design.
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
