Job Description

  • Prepare and complete the Instruments/Supplies required for each specific procedure for the day according to each surgeon's preferences
  • Check the patient's data and procedure to be done. "TIME OUT"
  • Prepares and arrange the surgical tables ( Back and Mayo table )
  • Opens the supplies needed for the procedure while maintaining aseptic Technique
  • Performs and assist in patient draping and maintain aseptic technique.
  • Ensures "Time Out" is performed by the Complete Team
  • Monitors the sterility of All those in the surgical team
  • Performs initial and subsequent sponge and instrument count
  • Ensures that all the instruments used during the operation are completed and accounted for. Responsibility of the Scrub Nurse & the OR CSSD Tech

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing, High Diploma (institute of Nursing)
  • 1 year of Work experience
  • Work license
  • Completed or Exempted Military status for Males
