Production Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze newly assigned production orders.
• Have a clear understanding of all items they are responsible for manufacturing and know precisely what is their current status and deadline.
• Create a Macro-plan for how each new item would fit in their production schedule according to priority.
• Create a Micro-plan for the distribution of tasks among the teams and workers in order to complete each item in the most efficient way.
• Daily follow up on the progress of each piece through the production process.
• Record & Report the development of each item throughout the production process.
• Report any missing materials or any machine requirements through the production process of any item.
• Record a monthly evaluation sheet for workers under the engineers’ supervision.
• Create solutions and ideas to optimize the entire production process.
• Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
• Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.
