Accountant (Construction Sector)
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage daily financial transactions and journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Track project expenses and assist in preparing budgets and cost reports.
- Handle supplier and subcontractor invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file tax reports, VAT, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain accurate records of project financial data.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Up to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting companies.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of local tax laws and accounting standards.
