Job Description
- Experience in Construction and general accounting.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collection activities
- Prepare and post general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and reconcile variances
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations to the Accounting Manager and senior management as needed
- Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial data and analysis as needed
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data and identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and other relevant data in the company's accounting system
- Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Professional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience using accounting software and other financial management tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the organization
