Job Description
- Identifies Targets, Develops and Manages Global Logistics Plans.
- Conducting comprehensive studies necessary for supporting in penetrating new countries.
- Globally manage the flow of materials and related information.
- Pursuing High Quality standards of services.
- Pricing of new Projects and Tenders and Setting-up the Logistics Budgets for Local and Overseas Projects.
- Assisting in issuing the Purchase Orders in collaboration with the Procurement Manager, in light of the Client's Agreement's terms and LC's conditions.
- Contracting with 3rd Logistics Parties (3PL) and Cargo Inspection Companies (CIC).
- Preparing Cargo Plans & Managing Packing of Materials in terms of safety and Shipping Models.
- Developing capabilities and skills of Logistics Team via providing them indoor training courses.
- Analyzing Data and Information and preparing Global Logistics Reports on Monthly Basis.
- Assisting in Logistics studies and risk assessments.
- Assists in Suppliers' L/C’s developing and managing, in collaboration with the Financial & Treasury Department inside the Supply Chain, Auditing & Control.
- Assisting in Troubleshooting and Problem Solving, and pursuing client's satisfaction in a way that does not contradict with reserving our Company's Reputation / Rights.
- Evaluating Logistics Freight Forwarders and Suppliers.
- Responsible for ensuring that Logistics processes are being implemented properly from the Qualitative and Quantitative perspective, and according to the Logistics General Plans and Deadlines.
- Responsible for managing Custom Clearance Operations.
- Applying and maintaining Client's Contractual Agreements via implementing and processing agreed Logistics Operations & Plans.
- Assisting in Decision Making by maintaining Data flow and making Analysis on regulatory standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that contracted material supplies are ready on time, received accurately at local suppliers’ premises, then safely loaded and secured on vehicles.
- Responsible for managing the transportation fleet and ensures that contracted material supplies are safely delivered on time to the right nominated site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Proven Precise Experience in the Trading with the Globe Agreements and Certificates (i.e. PAFTA, EURO 1, EUROMED, COMESA, etc.)
- Strong Ability to cope with the Supply Chain Software Systems (i.e. ERP, SAP, Navision, etc.)
- Excellent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
