Job Description
- Leads developers in the company’s ecommerce division
- Provides insights and guidance to ecommerce stakeholders to demonstrate how technology solutions can be leveraged to meet ecommerce goals.
- Controls all technical integrations with ecommerce platforms, third-party app integrations, and the whole ecommerce stack.
- A Hands-on developer as impactful individual contributor while also delegating work and creating opportunities for developers in the team.
- Fine-tunes the technical stack with a focus on security, high availability, and scalability.
- Provides team code review and technical oversight, manages project tasks, tracks schedules and timelines.
- Analyzes, identifies, researches, and recommends technology and business solutions to meet business requirements and IT system standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent real-world experience.
- 7+ years of experience, successfully building high-performance production Ecommerce websites.
- Substantial leadership experience in managing a team of developers.
- Deep Experience with tech stack like PHP or Python, Node.js, React, E-Commerce frameworks and/or platforms, CMS platforms, or technologies you’re expert in.
- Knowledge of project management methods, software development lifecycles, and production software system architecture design.
- Orchestrates product management, account management, order management, digital asset management, product experience management, and business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) ecommerce.
- Possesses a deep understanding of customer experience platforms, customer relationship platforms, ecommerce platforms, and more.
- Expertise in Databases, performance, and consumption optimization
- Familiar with RESTful and standard communication protocol system (SOAP) APIs.
- Backend integration experience and knowledge of security technology standards and controls.
- Design experience in multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of eCommerce platforms.
