Responsibilities:
Construction Finishing:
- Supervise and inspect all finishing activities on-site, including plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, and fittings.
- Ensure that all finishing work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Resolve on-site issues with contractors and coordinate adjustments as needed to maintain quality and timelines.
Digital Tools & Documentation:
- Use digital tools (e.g., project management software, inventory management tools) to monitor progress and report on-site activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of daily activities, including progress reports, quality control checklists, and material usage.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline site operations and improve communication with project managers and stakeholders.
Inventory & Materials Management:
- Oversee on-site inventory, ensuring all materials are accounted for, properly stored, and tracked.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
- Minimize material wastage and track material usage against project budgets.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all safety and compliance regulations on-site.
- Conduct regular safety audits and provide training to on-site teams as necessary.
Communication & Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between project management, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project progression.
- Address and resolve any issues related to project delays, quality control, or material shortages.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Site Engineer, particularly in construction finishing.
- Proficiency in digital tools for project and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of construction finishing standards, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in inventory management and procurement.
- Familiarity with construction project management software.
- Certification in Construction Project Management or relevant field is a plus.
